Laredo is the place to be if you love golden beaches and find yourself in Cantabria.

The beach is long and safe and banked by large sand dunes.

Laredo is just 47km from the port of Santander.

In the centre of Laredo, the council have provided a large car park for motorhomes to stay for free.

When we arrived there were around 12 vans already there. It's a two minute walk to the beach but a good thirty minutes into the town.
