Meet Dolly, our motorhome for van life
Our van, 'Dolly' is a 2026 Adria Compact, 3 berth
(We have just changed from our Autosleeper Kingham)
We chose this van after two years of a van conversion and the reasons were:

Larger living space than the Kingham

Larger garage for storage required for full-time van life

Fixed beds at the rear

The second bed will not be used so will always be an office/dining area

Van is same width as a normal Ducato van (almost)
Why 'Dolly'?
Our last van was called Skippy. The day we decided to change the van, we heard the sad news of the passing of Dolly Parton, a lifelong favourite artist. We were so saddened that we named the van in her memory

This van is a slimline, high-specification 3-berth motorhome with 4 travel seats, built on a Fiat Ducato chassis.
The van is of compact design with all the features of a much wider motorhome
Sleeping arrangements is a rear, fixed twin bed that can convert to a large double. Plus, a front lounge setup that converts to an extra single bed

Living & Kitchen: Bright front lounge with side-facing bench seats, swivel cab seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a kitchen equipped with a 3-burner gas hob, combi oven/grill, and a fridge-freezer

Base Vehicle & Tech: Powered by a 2.2L 140 HP Fiat MultiJet3 engine with an automatic gearbox, complemented by luxuries like a large rear garage, solar panel, and lithium leisure battery
Modifications
We have fitted WiFi in the van using an Avtex router. The antenna is mounted on the roof and this gives us dual SIM 5G all over the world.
We have added a 300Ah LiPo battery alongside another 170W solar panel. This gives us 370W in total.
