Almeria area
The province of Almeria is huge and is on the south east coast of Spain. Along the coast are so many beautiful, rural locations, each with their own unique beauty. From sandy beaches to rocky outcrops, you will find tranquillity.
Driving through Almeria is an experience in itself. You will see miles and miles of poly-tunnels and green houses, all packed with fruit and vegetables that will be sent all over the world. It's a bizarre sight to see.

The main city of Almeria has a Moorish feel to it with the huge Alcazabar, a 16th century fortress, a cathedral and many museums.
Whilst touring Almeria, we enjoyed a two night stay at Camping Playa Parazuelos which is close to Puntas de Calnegre.
This amazing campsite offers great accommodation for all campers and motorhomes. A large serviced pitch was just 23 euros per night (low season)
