Full time van life in Europe - Asturias & Galicia

How is full time van life for slightly older people? I think we're coping as we enter Asturias and Galicia in Northern Spain. Just how easy is it?

Asturias, in northern Spain can be likened to Ireland, or so they say. It gets a bit wet and it's very green. We have been so fortunate and had nothing but sunshine.

The coast is incredible. With it's jagged rocks and fierce waves, it's a haven for surfers and we have met lots of them.

As we settle into full time van life, we are learning to slow down. We don't drive massive distances and try to chill out whenever we can.

We've just come away from Cathedral Beach, named such thanks to the impressive rock formations. The free stop over for motorhomes is another big attraction.

From here we went west, right to the coast and a tiny village Muxia. We were last here twenty years ago and nothing has changed.

The council allow motorhome parking free of charge near the port and we'll have a couple of nights here before making our way south to Portugal.

So far, so good with van life but we have had a few small problems. Watch our next video to see how we coped.
